Fall Pinspiration- Our Fall Pinterest Board

We posted on our Facebook page that fall was creeping around the corner. To celebrate we put together a fall Pinterest board with decorating and style tips for this season. We're also using these tips to put together some amazing deals for our Labor Day Sale 

New Vendor- Debbie and Theresa Coates

New for August, the Hummingbird's Nest welcomes, Debbie and Theresa Coates to the shop. They bring primitive and shabby chic decor, farm tables,  fine art oil paintings, and much, much more. The sisters hail from Taylorstown, VA and hope to soon add soaps, decorative furniture knobs, and candle. Stop by and check out their space on the second level of our shop.

We'll be starting our holidy shopping season with our Holiday Open House November 6-8 - join us for refreshments, entertainment, special sales, giveaways and much, much more.

We'll also be adding some extended hours to the shop- we know traffic on Route 15 can be awful- feel free to wait it out at the shop with us on Wednesdays!

Add some history to your thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time for food and family, a time to share stories and bond. What better way to visually represent this than to add some vintage items to your table! Maybe you have grandma's silverware or an heirloom baking dish- let's look at some vintage decorating with a twist!

Holiday Open House 2014

We had a fantastic time at our Open House this weekend. We gave away prizes every hour that we were open and had many fabulous visitors.

We had elves on hand to help load large purchases. 

And to help us decorate!
